The Mayo
Branch was founded in 1996, and became officially
recognised shortly afterwards. It was founded in Westport by
the current branch secretary, Mr C. Burke and the current
branch chairman Mr R.Fabby. The branch has on average 25-30
members, with the majority from Co Mayo, it also has
members from nearby counties especially Co. Sligo. The
Co.Mayo Branch has members in Manchester who are
frequent visitors to Co.Mayo. The branch holds raffles
and various other fund-raising events throughout the
year, apart from members travelling to Maine Rd on an
individual basis they travel as a club at least twice
a year. The Co.Mayo Branch are loyal and dedicated
followers of their team and the football club. New
members are always welcome, current membership, events
etc. are available on request from the Co.Mayo Branch.
